लिवर कैंसर पर रिसर्च करने वाले एक्सपर्ट्स का कहना है कि उन्होंने शोध को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए 100 लोगों को चुना था। जिनमें से ऐसे 50 लोग थे जिन्हें लिवर कैंसर की दिक्कत थी। जिसमें 50 ऐसे लोग थे जिन्हें कोई दिक्कत नहीं थी। इसके बाद दोनों समूह के ब्लड सैंपल लेकर उनकी जांच की गई। जिसके बाद यह पता चला कि जिन लोगों को लिवर कैंसर था उनके शरीर में केमिकल की मात्रा ज्यादा थी। और यह केमिकल पूरी तरह से साफ न हुए बर्तनों और अन्य वजहों से हमारे शरीर में पहुंच गया और लिवर पर जाकर अटैक किया।
1990 से लेकर 2015 के बीच लिवर कैंसर के मामले 75 परसेंट बढ़े हैं अमरिकन एसोसिएशन फार कैंसर रिसर्च ने ये आडड़े जामा ओन्कोलाजी के हवाले से प्रकाशित किए हैं
2020 में लिवर कैंसर तीसरा सबसे बड़ा कारण था लोगों की मौत हो जाने का
अमेरिका में 71 प्रतिशत मामलों में कैसर ऐसे कारणों से होता है जिन्हें समय रहते रोका जा सकता है. यानी प्रिवेन्टिव होता है

अगर आप घर बैठे खाने-पीने की सुविधा देने वाले ऐप्स स्वीगी-जोमैटो आदि से खाना ऑर्डर करते हैं तो आपको 10 से लेकर 60 प्रतिशत तक एक्स्ट्रा कीमत चुकानी पड़ती है। अंतरराष्ट्रीय संस्था जेफरीज के दिल्ली समेत देशभर के आठ शहरों के 80 रेस्तरां पर किए सर्वे में यह बात सामने आई है।
जेफरीज की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, कमीश्न और प्रचार में अधिक लागत के चलते ज्यादातर रेस्तरां के फूड डिलीवरी ऐप और रेस्तरां में दिए जाने वाले मेन्यू के रेट में काफी अंतर है। जो डिश आप रेस्तरां में बैठकर 100 रुपये में खाते हैं, फूड डिलीवरी ऐप पर वही डिश आपको 110 से 160 रुपये में मिल रही है।
कीमतों में अंतर के तीन प्रमुख कारण सामने आए हैं। ये पैकिंग, प्रचार और कमीशन हैं। लगभग आधे रेस्तरां पैकिंग शुल्क लगाते हैं, जो बिल का 4-5 प्रतिशत है। ग्राहकों से वसूली जाने वाली कीमत में लगभग 13 प्रतिशत डिलीवरी शुल्क होता है। इसी प्रकार हर रेस्तरां का फूड डिलीवरी ऐप के साथ अलग-अलग कमीशन भी तय होता है। इन तीन कारणों के चलते कीमतों में अंतर देखा गया है।

दरअसल एनडीटीवी के मालिक प्रणय रॉय ने वर्ष 2008 में एक नई कंपनी-आरआरपीआर होल्डिंग्ज़ प्राइवेट लिमिटेड बनाई थी और 'इंडिया बुल्स' से 501 करोड़ रुपए का कर्ज़ लिया. था फिर इसी कंपनी के ज़रिये उन्होंने एनडीटीवी के बहुत सारे शेयरों को ख़रीदा. 'इंडियाबुल्स' के कर्ज़ को चुकाने के लिए 'आरआरपीआर होल्डिंग्ज़ प्राइवेट लिमिटेड' ने आईसीआईसीआई बैंक से 375 करोड़ रुपए का ऋण लिया जिसकी ब्याज दर 19 प्रतिशत तय किया गया. यह बात अक्टूबर 2008 की है. अगस्त 2009 में 'आरआरपीआर होल्डिंग्ज़ प्राइवेट लिमिटेड' को एक और कंपनी - विश्वप्रधान कमर्शियल प्राइवेट लिमिटेड - मिल गई जिसने आईसीआईसीआई का लोन चुकाने के लिए सहमति भर ली.
लोन की शर्त यह थी कि न चुकाने पर 350 करोड़ और ब्याज़ मिलाकर इक्विटी में बदल जायेगा।
यही पर प्रणय रॉय के साथ गेम हो गया
