• एक आधिकारिक विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार, वित्तीय वर्ष 2018-19 में सभी क्षेत्रों में कुल ऊर्जा मांग 63,605 एमयू थी, जो 2021-22 वित्तीय वर्ष में बढ़कर 68,905 एमयू हो गई। घरेलू, औद्योगिक और कृषि श्रेणियों में वृद्धि क्रमशः 32%, 6% और 16% थी।

• On January 2, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) issued draft guidelines prescribing standards for fortification of salt, oil, milk, vanaspati (vegetable oil), atta (wheat flour), maida (white flour) and rice. The food regulator sought suggestions and objections to the guidelines within a month after which the draft regulations will be taken into consideration.  

• The letter, sent on Monday to the FSSAI as well as the Food, Agriculture and Health Ministries and the Ministry of Women and Child Development, was signed by 170 individuals and organisations including eminent nutritionists, economists, doctors and farmers groups..

• National Institute of Nutrition’s former deputy director Veena Shatrugna, who warned that “evidence supporting fortification is inconclusive and certainly not adequate before major national policies are rolled out.”

• The letter points to recent studies published in the medical journal Lancet and in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition which show that both anaemia and Vitamin A deficiencies are overdiagnosed, meaning that mandatory fortification could lead to hypervitaminosis.

चीनी हैकर्स ने कुछ महीने पहले लद्दाख के पास पावर ग्रिड को निशाना बनाया था। इनका मकसद जरूरी जानकारी चुराना था। 

अमेरिका के मैसाचुसेट्स की निजी खुफिया फर्म रिकॉर्डेड फ्यूचर ने अपनी एक रिपोर्ट में इस बात का दावा किया है। 

फर्म ने कहा कि उसने भारत सरकार को ये जानकारी देने के बाद ही रिपोर्ट पब्लिश की है।

हैकर्स ने कम से कम 7 इंडियन स्टेट लोड डिस्पैच सेंटर (SLDCs) को निशाना बनाया। 

ये सेंटर्स लद्दाख में भारत-चीन सीमा के पास मौजूद इलाकों में ग्रिड कंट्रोल और रियल टाइम पावर डिस्ट्रिब्यूशन करते हैं।
