In today's episode, owner and CEO of The Azure Agency, Kennedy Meehan joins me! After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, Kennedy started freelancing due to the lack of employment opportunities in the public relations field resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. Kennedy then decided to launch The Azure Agency in an effort to help small businesses grow through the power of digital marketing and pursue her passions.
Kennedy had incredible internships and opportunities working with luxury brands such as Marc Jacobs Beauty and Pat McGrath Labs and used the knowledge and life experience she gained in the city to her own company!
We also shared our personal experiences and truths of post-grad life, which so many people including ourselves struggled with. Kennedy and I shared our stories on the gruesome interview process and what to look out for, self-doubt, the true lonlieness that can come from moving back home.
Kennedy is so inspiring and it was refreshing to talk about the behind-the-scenes of starting a business and hear about her process to becoming such a successful businesswoman!
