    Guest Bio:

Founder, CEO, nurse practitioner and mother of three Maegan Griffin brings more than eight years of aesthetic medicine experience to Skin Pharm, a modern cosmetic dermatology practice offering in-clinic treatments and at-home skin care.

Griffin founded Skin Pharm in 2017, aiming to create a clinic environment and product line she couldn't find (and knew she would love) as a patient herself. As one of the first woman-founded cosmetic dermatology clinics available to consumers, the success of Skin Pharm's Nashville flagship site led to the launch of an eponymous skin care line in 2018, with clinics in Atlanta (2020) and Dallas (2021) following soon after.

Griffin is known for her innovative work in cosmetic dermatology, aesthetic medicine and modern facial rejuvenation techniques. As an early adopter of injectables and cutting-edge skin laser technologies, Griffin's artful work has secured her reputation as a provider who helps patients create meaningful changes – both internal and external – in their own lives, while finding a balanced approach to anti-aging and beauty, too.

Griffin and her team focus on promoting skin health, empowering individuals by building confidence and fostering a community around a common interest of looking as good as you feel.

Jessica Zweig is CEO of the SimplyBe. agency, a premier personal branding firm based in Chicago, and serving clients across the globe. Named a "personal branding expert" by Forbes, a "top digital marketer to watch" by INC, and honored with the gold and silver Stevie® Award for Female Entrepreneur of the Year in 2018 and 2019, Jessica facilitates sold-out workshops and speaks on the power of personal branding to corporations including Google, Salesforce, Virgin, Nike, Motorola, Red Bull, and Bank of America. She also hosts the top-ranked marketing podcast, The SimplyBe. Podcast. Jessica's debut book, Be: A No-Bullsh*t Guide to Increasing Your Self Worth and Net Worth by Simply Being Yourself, launched in February 2021 with Sounds True, an imprint of Macmillan.

After growing up in Highland Park, IL and attending The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Jessica co-founded CheekyChicago, one of Chicago's premier lifestyle magazines. The website was a huge success and, although Jessica was known as a top ten Chicago "it girl," behind the scenes, her life was far from perfect. The website began to lose money, and Jessica's relationship with her co-founder turned toxic, but she still strove to maintain the façade of success. After overdrafting her checking account and becoming unable to pay her cell phone bill, Jessica realized she wasn't being her authentic self. Instead, she was operating from a place of fear which prevented her from true success. This revelation led Jessica to found her own company, SimplyBe. Agency, in 2014.

At SimplyBe., Jessica and her team work with corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and creatives to become recognized industry experts and thought leaders. SimplyBe. works with clients including Heineken, Morningstar, Blackstone, Mars, Vishen Lakhiani, Jason Rosenthal, Andrea Levoff, Larry Jordan, and many more to successfully develop their personal brands while highlighting their greatest business asset: their authenticity. Her business provides customized branding, marketing, and creative services with an emphasis on core values like kindness, truth, service, and, of course, authenticity.

Jessica believes authenticity is the key to true success, and that being yourself opens up a new world of empowerment that's not just about how much money you're making. She's also on a mission to debunk the perception that personal branding is an act of vanity; instead, when done right, personal branding is an act of service, social responsibility, and a positive investment toward a positive future.

Jessica has brought her life-changing and trademarked methodology to clients around the world, taking many from unknown expert to recognized thought leader. In her free time, she loves traveling, meditating, journaling, working out, and reading. She is involved with multiple charities including The Humane Society, The Human Rights Campaign, I Grow Chicago, Black Lives Matter, and more. Jessica currently lives in Chicago with her husband and two dogs.

Everyone deserves to get the help they need to feel healthy and happy. Mental health may be entering the discussion more and more these days, but finding a therapist you feel comfortable with is still a scary process. Christy Desai, of Okay Humans, is hoping to change that by making therapy more accessible than ever before. Christy has a unique story that's sure to help a lot of people.

    Question Highlights:

    • What is your career path and how did you get to where you are today?

    Guest Bio:

After unsuccessfully trying to outrun the stress of life, Christy finally looked for a therapist in hopes of catching her breath. What started as "3-5 sessions" turned into years of deep, inner work – work she didn't even know she needed. And it freed her! She learned how to be okay with things like conflict, curveballs, and growth – just to name a few. Her own experience turned into a personal mission to help other people feel better, stronger, and more alive. There's no reason why talking to a trained professional shouldn't be as acceptable as going to the dentist, the hair salon, or seeking out a personal trainer. She started Okay Humans to normalize seeking support, to rethink the outdated therapy model, and to open up the conversation about getting to okay.
