In 1892, Andrew and Abby Borden were murdered inside their Fall River home, and all eyes turned to their daughter, Lizzie. The evidence was strange, the rumors were relentless, and the trial became one of the most talked-about cases of its time. Lizzie was acquitted, but she spent the rest of her life carrying a reputation she could never outrun.

Today, the Borden house is a museum and bed-and-breakfast, and Lacey toured it herself to bring firsthand details of the rooms where the story unfolded. In this episode, we look at the murders, the trial, and the life Lizzie tried to rebuild afterward, exploring why this case still holds such a grip on true-crime fans more than a century later.
