    On this weeks episode the boys discuss 1917, a British war film from director Sam Mendes. The film was inspired by war stories told to Mendes by his grandfather. It stars George MacKay and Dean-Charles Chapman as two British infantrymen on a mission to deliver an important message to call off a doomed offensive attack. Filmed to appear as two continuous shots, 1917 is a technical marvel grounded in intimate and personal story telling.

    On this weeks episode the boys discuss Soup, the second album from 90's Alt-Rock band Blind Melon. It was also the final album released by the band with their original singer Shannon Hoon. Although Soup was generally not well received when it originally released, it has since garnered a cult following and has been lauded as a dark horse of the Alt-Rock genre.

The film follows a group of high school hackers being framed for releasing a virus on The Ellingson Mineral Corporation. This is possibly the whackiest and most 90s film ever made, complete with rollerblades, techno music, and way too many leather jackets.

  • The Green Goblin's Last Stand (w/ Zach McCrary)

    On this weeks episode the boys are joined by Zach McCrary to discuss The Green Goblin's Last Stand, a 1992 fan-made Spiderman film from writer/director Dan Poole. Made in Baltimore on a $400 budget, the movie follows the plot of the comic book story "The Night Gwen Stacy Died". Although it is not a big budget blockbuster, this film has garnered a cult following among comic fans and even had a documentary made about it. It's low budget, full of heart, and a lot of fun.
