The film stars John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd as the inscrutable Jake and Elwood Blues, as they attempt to get their band back together and pull off one big show to save the orphanage where they grew up. This movie is full of car chases, absurd humor, and an enormous supporting cast that includes some of the greatest R&B musicians of all time. They're on a mission from God and they won't stop until they save the world with blues music.

Released in 2001 this album was Ben Folds' first solo album, almost entirely self produced with Folds writing all the songs and playing almost every instrument in every song. There is no other way to put it, the man is an absolute musical wizard!

Based on the video game franchise of the same name this series is full of over the top action, raunchy humor, and a ton of late 90s nostalgia. Starring Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatriz, Will Arnett, and Thomas Haden Church this show has a little something for everyone.

  • RRR (Rise, Roar, Revolt) w/ Zach McCrary
    On this weeks episode the boys are joined once again by Zach McCrary to discuss the 2022 Telugu-language film RRR. The film revolves around the fictional versions of two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, as they forge an unlikely friendship to fight the British Colonizers. This film has a little bit of everything. Fighting, dancing, singing, bromance, and a whole lot more. All together it makes for one hell of a wild ride.

    On this weeks episode the boys catch up after a few weeks apart and discuss Alt-Rock band CAKE, and their fourth studio album Comfort Eagle (2001). Considered by some to be their most technically proficient album, Comfort Eagle has all the trademark wit and whimsy of their previous albums... and of course its chock full of those undeniably funky grooves that made them legends in the 90's Alt-Rock scene.

Written by Quentin Tarantino and directed by Tony Scott, this romantic crime thriller is an undeniable classic. The film sports an all-star ensemble cast, with Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette starring as newlyweds on the run from the mob after stealing a suitcase full of drugs.

    On this weeks episode Thor is joined by Zach McCrary from The Comics That We Love Podcast to discuss the double-feature event of the summer, Barbenheimer. The Barbie Movie and Oppenheimer are the two biggest blockbusters of the year. So Thor and Zach decided to watch them back-to-back and talk about it. Barbie is bright, pink, and fun. Oppenheimer is dark, thought provoking, and sad. Together they make for a very unique film experience.

Set during the Edo period of feudal Japan, the game follows a young swordsman named Hiroki who embarks on a quest of vengeance when his home village is burned, leading him to enter Yomi, the Japanese underworld, and confront the evils of his past.
