Cecilia Bachica, my grandmother, was a Woman For All Seasons - perhaps the greatest Christian woman I have ever met. Her warmth, sensibility, and joys in suffering culminated in a life worthy of the praise of angels. I shall miss her dearly, but I have hope through Christ that we shall be reunited once again.

Please pray for the repose of her soul, and for my family. God reward you.

What makes the monastery so efficacious in directing the mind and the heart to God? A. Rule. Of. Life. You don't have to be a religious to take on this practice in your homes for the good of your soul and those under your care. This meditation is taken from the Fr. Lasance "My Prayer Book".

A Jedi tool, and a Sith Weapon.

A strange article has appeared in The Atlantic attempting to explain how the rosary has been commandeered by militant 'Rad Trads', who are hellbent on violence and alt-right livin'. Let's go through this nonsense, and see exactly what the secular Left thinks about Catholics the greatest weapon we've been given.

The writer of the article is entitled to his own opinions, and we condemn any attempts at harassment, bullying, or anything else. Obviously.

Happy Feast of the Assumption. Listen along and then get to mass later!

Praise God and all the memelords in Heaven, we did it! Thank you to all of our subscribers on Youtube for  helping us get to 1,000 subscribers! We are so humbled and honored by your patronage and support. To celebrate, we sit down to watch the 1968 documentary The New American Catholic , which interviews various religious and laity at the time of Vatican 2 to see how they welcomed the changes in their own words.

The results are exactly what you expect. Enjoy!

This goes out especially to our brothers and sisters in the dioceses of Arlington, Washington DC, and Chicago. God is with you in the midst of these persecutions, and we shall weather through whatever these bishops throw at us. Our revenge shall be in the laughter of our children.
