Peter Meisel is a born and raised New Yorker from Stuyvesant town, but he left his home for a job teaching in Australia when he was just in his 20s. More than forty years have passed and we're still stuck with him. It was a bit of a fraught journey to get him here and along the way the man became a comedian and retired early from teaching as a result. With a reputation for “training the untrainable”, UK stand-up comedian and animal expert Emma Malik (The Jim Jefferies Show, Studio 10, Sunrise) is the world’s only comedian with a CV that boasts training everything from tigers, dugongs and crocodiles to bearded dragons and goldfish.

Her solo show ' If You Can't Train It, Eat It' sold out at both the Sydney Fringe Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival and is scheduled to tour the country. Alia Lievore is a rising comedian in Sydney with a terrible secret... Her childhood was... quite pleasant and she still gets along with her family very well. It's a shocking and unusual state of affairs for such a funny lady, and we dive into how that came to be.

This week's guest is Adam Boys, a filmmaker and hilarious friend who's AFTRS Graduate film had its World Premiere at the 37th annual Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFF). The Horror-Comedy "Brunch Shift Massacre" has been a crowd favourite everywhere its been screen thanks in large part to the cathartic experience of every hospitality worker who's wanted to straight up murder annoying customers. 

We veer well off the topic of film and touch on how rage and controlling one's emotions is a difficult thing to do. Sometimes you just don't talk about those things, but in this episode, I'm glad I asked...
