In this episode Dayana shares with you 6 steps that will allow you to improve your mental health, emotional health, and overall health. Now, this is not to say that you have to do these steps and that they will work like magic, you must take what you need and leave what you don't. Find what works for you and let that be the thing that helps you whenever there is no one around.
The most important thing to remember is that your thoughts lead to your emotions, and your emotions, or better yet, the way you handle those emotions dictate your health.
Here are the 6 Steps/Tips to Improve Your Thoughts, Emotions, and Health:
1. Acknowledge and become aware of your incoming thoughts. Accept them as they are.
2. Ask questions to find out why these thoughts are happening.
3. Find out what feelings and emotions are arising due to these thoughts.
4. Acknowledge, accept, and sit with the feelings and emotions for a moment. Feel them, let them exist within your body so they can be released.
5. Let the feelings, emotions, and thoughts go.
6. Do something that will make you feel good after going through all these steps (i.e. yoga, exercise, painting, meditation, hanging out with friends, journaling, etc.)
