It’s a beautiful night, and we’re looking for something dumb do to!
Hey baby, I think we want to do a deep dive into season 2, episode 8 “Furt”, and episode 9 “Special Education”! In the former, the Glee Club hijacks Burt and Carol’s wedding, and Carol Burnett hijacks Sue’s wedding with herself. In the latter, the stakes have never been lower for Sectionals and Rachel has never been more silenced. We also somehow discuss MJ Rodriguez, Jenny McCarthy, and Allison Williams’ agents in the same episode. We’re so glad to be back!
We discuss:
2x08: Furt
Written by: Ryan Murphy
Directed by: Carol Banker
2x09: Special Education
Written by: Brad Falchuk
Directed by: Paris Barclay

Buen día, clase!
Butter the floor and switch names with your classmate, because this week there’s a sub teacher as we discuss 2x07: “The Substitute” with very special guest Kevin O’Keeffe. We dive deep into the tater tot wars and discuss everything Gwyneth Paltrow. Where was she in her career when she joined Glee? How did being on the show alter her public persona? Could she make a six de-Glees connection with Tom Holland? We also try to buy Lea’s house off the market.

It’s time to gather some côuragé!
This week, we arrive to several pivotal points of the series as we discuss 2x06: “Never Been Kissed.” We are introduced to Blaine Anderson, the Dalton Academy Warblers, and a different side of Karofsky, while all the Glee club members continue to be horrible to Coach Beiste under Will’s supervision. We also talk about the impact of “Teenage Dream” and the most wonderful time of the year: whenever Lea has new music out.

It’s time to do the Time Warp again!
This week, we welcome the Queen of Camp, the Sultan of Spook and our favorite Creature of the Night Michael Varrati, to get down and filthy as we discuss The Rocky Horror Glee Show. Michael gives us a lesson on the history of the beloved cult musical, and we desperately try to forget Will Schuester’s manipulation tactics, the assassination of Emma Pillsbury, and Sin-sational, Transylvania. We’ll always have Sam’s abs.
We discuss:

Your prayers have been answered. In this week's carbo-loaded double episode we discuss the miracles of buttered bread in 2x03: "Grilled Cheesus", and fight to the death for a Breadstix dinner in 2x04: "Duets." We have misguided religious calls, heart attacks, deep rivers, and high mountains. Also, Rachel Berry hates Grease 2 and Lea Michele loves kale.

It's Brittany, bitch!
This week, we welcome Britney Spears aficionado and pop culture savant Topher Gauk-Roger to discuss the second artist-centered episode in Glee, "Britney/ Brittany"! Did the New Directions pay proper respect to the Princess of Pop? The answer may be exactly what you expect! We also discuss our personal histories with Britney, and explicitly do NOT discuss Ryan Murphy's "A Chorus Line" Netflix adaptation.

Welcome back to school, gleeks! This week we’re kicking off our season 2 with ultra special guest Garrett Greer, who actually worked on “Glee” for the first two seasons! Garrett helps us dissect the highly anticipated at the time season 2 premiere, “Audition” and gives us all the behind-the-scenes drama from his time on the show. He also introduces a new segment in which he schools us on what we’ve gotten right or wrong so far.
(We apologize for the sound issues towards the second half. We did our best after some files were lost. We still think this is one of our best episodes!)

Well, we've made it. After a season of teen emotional breakdowns, heart soaring musical numbers, and entirely too much Matthew Morrison rapping, we made it to Regionals. This week, we dive into the final episode and wrap up the first season of GLEE with "Journey to Regionals." Sue is made a judge at the competition, Quinn finally gives birth, and Vocal Adrenaline blows our mind once again. Even if the best number wasn't even shown.
We also rank our favorite episodes and musical numbers of the season. Did something rain on "Don't Rain on my Parade"'s parade?

This is a rough one, guys. This week we fall into a deep funk, as we discuss episodes 1x20: “Theatricality” and 1x21: “Funk”. On the former, it’s Gaga week at McKinley, Rachel has the most misguided first encounter with her birth mother, and Finn says the “F” word. On the latter, Will tries to seduce Sue to disarm her, Vocal Adrenaline strikes back, and Quinn dances while pregnant; a lot. Us? We’d just rather talk about Beanie Feldstein.
We discuss:
1x20: Theatricality
Written and directed by: Ryan Murphy
1x21: Funk
Written by: Ian Brennan
Directed by: Elodie Keene

This week is all about lost voices and hopeless dreams as we dive into 1x18: “Laryngitis” and 1x19: “Dream On”. Puck loses his mojo as Rachel loses her vocal chords, Neil Patrick Harris heads a showchoir recovery group, Idina Menzel once dreamed a dream, and it’s finally Kurt’s turn. But it’s all background to our deep discussion on MTV’s “Are You the One?” and the CATS trailer.
We discuss:
1x18: Laryngitis

Directed by: Alfonso Gomez-Rejon
1x19: Dream On

Directed by: Joss Whedon.
