GLEEwind

In the first episode recap of the series, Michael and Jorge go back to where it all started, and where it all peaked?

They talk about the iconic character introductions, why the most famous musical number is not necessarily the best one, and how the story evolved from earlier drafts. It's also all about Lea's wedding, because when isn't it?

We discuss:
1x01: PILOT
Written by: Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan
Directed by: Ryan Murphy

Welcome back to McKinley High, gleeks. And happy tenth anniversary!

On the premiere episode of GLEEwind, Jorge and Michael take a trip down memory lane to take look at how the show came to be, where the cast and creators were before it aired, and where they are now. How did the idea of the show came about? How was everyone cast? Whose career burned the brightest after it all ended? Who is Lea Michele still friends with?

They also share their GLEE origin stories, fears, and expectations before diving into the full rewatch. Needless to say, we are not looking forward to a very specific season five episode.

Outro Song: Shallow - Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper
