Happy Thursday! It's a #FridaysWithForrester edition of GCR. Yeah, it's weird. But stay with us. Drew (DrewsMorningDish.com) joined us in studio to discuss...a lot. We actually attempted some real sports conversation in Hour 1. What do we make of Mount St. Joseph's decision (with other schools likely to follow) to not play St. Frances in football moving forward? How should St. Frances respond? This is really kinda uncharted territory. After that we tried talking about the Orioles again and it...went about as well as the Orioles have played. Near the bottom of Hour 2 we got into this week's Jon Proctor Quiz. Glenn lead Drew 12-6 for the year coming in but fell behind big early. Could he dig out? And what does "Dick Hurtz" have to do with any of this? Near the end of Hour 2, "The Sandlot" week continued ahead of the Orioles' 25th anniversary celebration of the movie Saturday. This time it was writer/director/narrator David Mickey Evans who joined us to tell us amazing stories about the movie, including having to coach up "Squintz" for the Wendy Peffercorn scene and how the 4th of July scene came together. The conversation was magic. And we wrapped the show with our weekly chat with Patrick Stevens (@D1scourse). What is Maryland basketball now with Kevin Huerter gone? And can he name all 12 teams that Edwin Jackson has pitched for?
