Transparently, Guerdley and I are now closer in age to forty than thirty… Which is mind-boggling because it feels like time is speeding by with no regard for our feelings, yet it also feels like we’ve lived so many lives, we should probably be in our eighties?!
So in this episode we’re in the mood for throwing it back to that one-of-a-kind period known as our twenties. A unique decade full of important and overrated moments that shaped us for the better. Let’s get into some reflection shall we?
Pull up for conversation on:
(2:00) How we’re currently feeling — finding the sweet spot between ease & effort
(8:30) The astrology of your twenties
(11:00) Honoring our past selves as ancestors
(17:00) The most overrated parts of our twenties
(18:00) Why we will never get a Brazilian wax ever again
(24:30) Why living & working in Manhattan is overrated

The first time I heard Jessamyn Stanley speak in 2019, I immediately felt like I could trust this woman to hold it dowwwwwwn when it came to representing some of my most important beliefs, no matter who was or wasn't in the room.
She’s an award-winning yoga instructor and intersectional activist with a heavy PASSION for diversity + inclusion in the self-care space.
There’s so much laughter and memorable dialogue in this episode about why yoga in the west was initially more embraced by white folks, why in her words "self-hatred is such a boring distraction," advice for those uncomfortable with the word 'fat' and hella more.
I hope you enjoy this convo as much as I did.
Per usual, I’m very thankful for your support! If you loved this episode please consider leaving a rating, review and sharing with your people!
You can also hit me up on social media, I’m @itstracyg everywhere and Jessica can be found @mynameisjessamyn. Appreciation overload!

Celebrated tarot practitioner, Jessica Dore is a woman who reminds me on the daily that the internet can be a soulful place. In her words she’s “interested in using tarot cards to help people understand the interplay between internal and external life and to behave flexibly and in alignment with what is most precious.”
In my words: she’s a psychology / mysticism appreciator’s wet dream.
We talk about why tarot has had such a profound comeback during modern day times, her very unique morning routine, what the energy of lust, anger and grief have taught her and so much more.
Jess has delighted my heart and stretched my brain and you need some of that. Enjoy.
If you love what you hear, please consider rating and sharing this podcast if you haven’t already. I can be found everywhere on social @itstracyg and send Jess some love! She’s @thejessicadore everywhere as well.
Per usual, I’m very thankful for your support!
