The Global Captive Podcast will be returning for its difficult second season on Sunday, 1 March. As many of you know, GCP is now a full-time venture, produced by Global Captive Media, Ltd and so I am excited to be bringing you more and better content than ever before.
Our 30 – 40 minute episodes will continue in much the same format, with a different guest co-host each time, a captive owner interview and a third guest or roundtable discussion to cap it off.
I am delighted to say legacy specialists R&Q will remain our headline sponsor. Without their support this project would never have materialised, so it is fitting they remain central to the podcast for at least another year.
Our biggest addition for GCP 2020, however, will be the GCP Shorts that will be released in the previously dormant weeks. The topics covered in these snap shot episodes, are set to range from parametric triggers and cell company governance to captives in a hard market and third party risk.
To deliver the 15 to 20 minute GCP Shorts, we have engaged 15 firms as our Friends of the Podcast for 2020. These range from captive managers and leading jurisdictions, to fronting partners, law firms, and investment managers.
To view the full list of our Friends of the Podcast for GCP 2020, please visit the Global Captive Podcast LinkedIn page.
The niche nature of our content means traditional podcast marketing methods are almost irrelevant, so LinkedIn and word of mouth will continue to be the key tools to raising awareness of GCP.
If you enjoy the podcast and believe it is a valuable tool for you, your colleagues and peers then please continue to like, share and comment on the episodes and spread to word.
Thank you to all of our listeners and guests who have joined us to date and welcome to our new followers as well. Here’s to the next chapter of this exciting journey!
