The New York Times is reporting on the Text Message that former Fox Host, Tucker Carlson sent to a producer. According to The Times, this text message, and possibly many more, led to the firing of Carlson, one of Fox's most-watched talking heads.

And according to reports, the texts prompted the network to settle a multi-million dollar lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems.

Writer E. Jean Carroll spent two days on the witness stand in a Federal Court House in New York this past week. The civil case does not mandate that the accused, Donald Trump, be present during the trial. But he did post comments on social media.

Carroll has accused the former president of rape and defamation. Trump has denied all charges. 

This follow-up episode focuses on the trial and Carroll's two days on the witness stand.

On Monday, April 24, Two Cable TV Personalities were Fired. Don Lemon worked for CNN. Tucker Carlson worked for Fox Corp. It appears it was just a coincidence that the two high-profile television talents were axed on the same day, just about an hour apart. 

As different as they are, a similar thread runs through their careers. And how they acted is a lesson for everybody who communicates. That's all of us. 

The Rape and Defamation lawsuit filed by writer E. Jean Carroll against Donald Trump goes to Trial this coming week.

Jury selection will begin on Tuesday, April 25, in a Federal Court in New York.

Trump's legal team has attempted to delay, delay, delay. But the Judge is not buying it.

The case stems from an alleged attack in a New York department store in the mid-1990s.

Carroll was able to sue Trump thanks to the New York Adult Survivors Act that extends the statute of limitations for sexual assault victims to sue the perpetrators for damages.

New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg Sues Rep. Jim Jordan

On Tuesday, Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg sued Republican congressman Jim Jordan to stop what Bragg called an “unconstitutional attack” on the ongoing criminal prosecution of former US president Trump.

The lawsuit aims to block a subpoena of Mark Pomerantz, a former prosecutor who had led the Manhattan district attorney’s investigation of Trump. The subpoena, issued last week by the House of Representatives judiciary committee, which Jordan chairs, seeks Pomerantz’s appearance before the committee for a deposition.

The Trials of Donald Trump - UPDATE on the Investigations as of April 10, 2023. The former president is facing multiple investigations into alleged criminal activity.

In New York, he was indicted in the "Catch and Kill" Payoff case in Manhattan.

The Federal Cases. The Department of Justice is conducting two investigations. Special Counsel Jack Smith is handling those two cases. They are alleged crimes connected to the January 6 attack on the United States Capitol and the stolen classified case in Florida. 

In Fulton County, Georgia.

Trump faces possible charges of election fraud or racketeering related to an alleged “coordinated scheme” to undermine the 2020 election results in Georgia.

And on April 25, Jury Selection begins in New York in the Defamation Civil suits involving writer E. Jean Carroll.

On Tuesday, April 3, former President Donald Trump became the first man in the United States to be charged with a crime.  Never one to do anything small, Trump was charged with 34 Felony Counts of Falsifying Business Records. In addition to the Indictment document, which lists the charges filed against Trump, District Attorney Alvin Bragg also released a "Statement of Facts." This fascinating document tells the story of three successful men, Donald Trump, Michael Cohen, and David Pecker. They are the inventors of the "Catch and Kill Scheme." 

The scheme involved a porn star, a Playboy Model, and a Trump Tower Doorman. It included sexual encounters, lies, money, big business, politics, power, and crime.

For the first time in U.S. History a former President is being charged with a crime.

Here is what we know:

Trump will fly to NY on Monday. Stay overnight at Trump Tower.

He will turn himself in to authorities on Tuesday morning with his attorneys and secret service detail.

Special arrangements will most likely be in place because he is a former president.

Once in the building, he will be booked. That includes:

Being handcuff. He will not be handcuffed.

Being fingerprinted. He will be.

Mug shot. There is now reporting that there will NOT be a Mug Shot.

At 2:15, Trump will appear for Judge Juan Marichan. The indictment will be unsealed, and the charges will be read.

According to reports, Trump is facing 30 felony counts.

He will enter a plea of guilty or not guilty.

Trump is now scheduled to give a speech on Tuesday evening in Florida.
