Can you keep sinning just because grace covers it? In this episode of the Glorify & Grow podcast, Pastor Thomas Kulp of Horizon Church (Bosque Farms, New Mexico) walks through Romans 6 and Paul's piercing question: "Should we let sin increase so that grace can increase? Surely not."
Using memorable, everyday analogies β speed limits and "death ray" traffic cameras, four-way stops, borrowed restaurant pens, and self-checkout mistakes β Pastor Thomas exposes the "wiggle room" theory so many of us live by: the habit of moving our own bull's-eye and justifying the sin we know we should surrender. You'll hear why grace already has you covered, what it means that we're no longer slaves to sin, and how a heart transformed by God slowly tightens that target until you're "splitting arrows."
He also traces the story of the Law β from Adam's one command, to Moses and the Ten Commandments, to Jesus fulfilling the Law and writing it on our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Jeremiah's new covenant). This is a challenging, honest, and often funny call to stop excusing sin and start loving God enough to obey Him.

Ever heard the phrase "wanted dead or alive"? Out here in the old West of New Mexico, Pastor Thomas Kulp found a surprising picture of the Gospel hiding in those old bounty posters.
In this episode, Thomas unpacks Paul's teaching on being dead to sin and alive in Christ through the lens of frontier justice, Billy the Kid, and the bounty hunters who worked the territory. There was a bounty on your head too, and Satan wanted to claim it, until Jesus stepped in to pay the price and make you a new person: dead to your old self, alive in grace. Along the way, Thomas gets honest about why the church doesn't talk enough about sin, and why the infighting between denominations is doing real damage to the witness of Christ.

Is "good enough" actually good enough with God? The Greek word for sin means to miss the mark, and most of us have quietly widened the target.
In this message from Romans 6, Pastor Thomas Kulp of Horizon Church unpacks what sin really means, why we hold a tight bull's eye for other people's sin and a wide one for our own, and what a declassified guided missile program taught one engineer about precision in the Christian life. Kicking off Freedom Month, this teaching sets up the difference between grace as a covering and grace as a goal.

Sin has always been only the second greatest power in the world. Pastor Thomas Kulp of Horizon Church unpacks that one statement and why it changes how Christians face guilt, temptation, and past mistakes.
In this episode of Glorify & Grow, we dig into Romans 5 and what it means that sin entered through one man but was defeated through the second man, Jesus Christ. You'll hear why God's love comes before His grace and mercy, what to say to the "circumstantial Christian" whose faith rises and falls with life's ups and downs, and how a glassblower in Santa Fe became a picture of how God shapes His workmanship through the fire.
Whether you're carrying guilt from decades ago or walking a friend through a dark season, this message is a reminder that love never fails, all means all, and it will get better.

Why did one command in the garden turn into ten, and then into hundreds of laws we still wrestle with today? In this episode of Glorify & Grow, Pastor Thomas Kulp of Horizon Church in Bosque Farms, New Mexico opens Romans 5 and walks through how sin entered the world through one man, Adam, and how the law didn't erase sin but revealed it.
Pastor Thomas gets honest about the Ten Commandments and the ways we try to reinterpret them to fit our own lives, from "do not kill" to "honor your father and mother" to the one that convicts us all: do not covet. He tackles the pull of "I deserve, I want, I need," the discipline of actually learning Scripture instead of excusing ourselves, and what it looks like to live in this world without belonging to it.
The good news at the center of it all: you don't have to earn your way through hundreds of rules. Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice, and where sin increased, grace increased all the more.

Pastor Thomas picks up Romans 5 with a hard look at how we want everything fixed right now. Through stories from a Christian entrepreneurs group and a string of frustrating customer service calls, he asks how patient God has been with us when we fail, and what it means to give grace and grace and grace. Then he traces the cycle that started in Eden, ran through the law and Moses, and landed at the cross, where the blood that is life became the atonement. God never changed the program. Jesus became the lamb.
Pastor Thomas Kulp walks through Paul's argument in Romans: how sin entered the world through one man, Adam, and reached all of humanity. He traces God's one program from the perfection of Eden, to the Ten Commandments, to the 600-plus laws stacked up by Jesus' day, showing how the Law multiplies our awareness of sin while the blood of Christ stays the constant thread of atonement from Leviticus all the way to the cross. Along the way he gets honest about coveting, the modern "I deserve, I want, I need" mindset that quietly replaces God's Word, and what it actually takes to put in the work of knowing Scripture. A grounding reminder that even in a broken world, we can walk in restored union with God.

What if the dirty, dark box you've written off as worthless is actually lined with gold?
In this episode of Glorify & Grow, Pastor Thomas Kulp of Horizon Church in Bosque Farms, NM walks through the story of a king, a wise man, and an old beaten-up chest that looked like nothing but darkness inside. It turns out to be a picture of how God sees you. The world measures your worth by what you achieve, what you earn, and how you stack up against the people around you. God measures it differently. When He brings the light of Jesus into the darkness, the true value He placed in you is revealed, and once that light is lit, it stays lit.
Pastor Thomas also shares why the wisdom of those who came before us matters more than we realize, why no amount of money or earthly glory can separate you from the love of God, and why the invitation into His throne room is open to every single person, no exceptions.
In this episode:
- Why we are called to be remodeled, not conformed to this world
- The hard truth about being a "good person" apart from Christ
- The king and the wise man's box: finding your true worth
- Nothing can separate you from God's love (Romans 8)
- The open invitation into the throne room

In this episode, Pastor Thomas Kulp of Horizon Church (Bosque Farms, NM) shares a powerful shift that changes everything β from "God, why is this happening to me?" to "God, what do you want me to do with this?"
Drawing from Romans 5:3-5, Tom opens up about growing up with a painful skin disease for 16 years, quitting football and discovering running, and training for an Ironman β all to show how suffering isn't random. It's a training formula. Endurance builds character. Character builds hope. And hope doesn't disappoint.
