NFL NETWORK NEWS WEEK 7 2015 SUNDAY GAMES RECAP - Dallas wide receiver Cole Beasley muffed a late fourth-quarter punt, ending the Cowboys' chances of a two-minute drill in Sunday's 27-20 loss at the New York Giants. Here's what you need to know:

1. Matt Cassel shook off three interceptions in a five-pass span to tie the game at 20 with a touchdown toss to a toe-tapping Devin Street in the middle of the fourth quarter. Those good vibrations lasted just a few seconds before special teams ace Dwayne Harris came back to haunt his former team with the first 100-yard return touchdown by a Giants player in more than 50 years. Minutes later, Beasley sealed the game with the muffed punt, leaving Dallas to lament Harris' presence on the opposite sideline. 2. Darren McFadden excelled in the workhorse role after Joseph Randle left early with a back strain. Paced by a hard-charging McFadden consistently moving the chains against a stout run defense, the Cowboys dominated time of possession (38:04 to 21:56), total yards (460 to 289) and first downs (27-13). McFadden generated 162 yards and a score on 31 touches. He would have added another 31-yard touchdown on a screen pass if not for a questionable Street penalty. McFadden played well enough to earn a larger share of the backfield pie going forward.

Marshawn Lynch, Seahawks DOMINATE Kaep & The 49ers! NFL TALK Week 7 2015 TNF

NFL NETWORK NEWS - Seattle coach Pete Carroll and his merry band of Seahawks insisted all week they weren't worried. They still believed they were a championship-caliber team despite a 2-4 record.

On Thursday night, they played like champions. Seattle dispatched the rival San Francisco 49ers 20-3, and it didn't feel that close. The Seahawks sent a message with a 12-play touchdown drive to start the game that included nine Marshawn Lynch runs. The thesis of that statement drive: We are the toughest team on the field.

After a sluggish start to the season, Lynch looks like his old self again. He broke tackles and showed great lateral explosion on his way to 122 yards rushing and a touchdown. Lynch's angry runs combined with Seattle's suffocating defense gave this game an entirely familiar feel. The Seahawks won 19-3 in San Francisco on Thanksgiving night last season, and have now beaten the 49ers six of seven times in the Colin Kaepernick era.

NFL NETWORK NEWS The argument took place between Manziel and his Texas Christian University girlfriend Colleen Elizabeth Crowley.

The incident started on I-90 westbound near the Nagle Road overpass on Monday at 6 p.m.

According to the report, a witness called police after seeing Manziel's white Nissan use the shoulder of the road to pass her at a high speed.

NCAA NEWS Five former Louisville basketball players and recruits told ESPN's Outside the Lines that the gist of Katina Powell's book alleging she provided dancers and escorts at the request of former UL staff member Andre McGee is true.

"It was crazy," one former recruit told Outside the Lines. "It was like I was in a strip club."

A source previously told CBS Sports that former Louisville recruit JaQuan Lyle told the NCAA much the same thing earlier this month.

Powell spoke with Outside the Lines on camera and detailed many of the same allegations she made in a book published earlier this month, but nothing new. She provided incriminating text messages she exchanged with McGee that she had previously written about, which Outside the Lines reported it was able to independently confirm.

After starting 10 of 10 for 87 yards and a touchdown, Manning went 13 for 27 for 123 yards with a pair of interceptions the rest of the way. The Giants turned the ball over three times in a 15-play span after committing just three turnovers in 343 plays entering the game. NFL NETWORK NEWS - Sunday night's long-awaited battle between the Colts and Patriots will long be remembered for a bizarre and ill-fated play-call that sunk a knife in Indy's chances for victory.

Trailing New England 27-21 late in the third quarter of Sunday's loss, the Colts opted for a disorganized dose of trickery on fourth-and-3 from their own 37-yard line.

After lining up in punt formation, the Colts rolled nine players -- including their entire offensive line -- to the far right side of the field, leaving wideout Griff Whalen to kneel over the ball like a center, with safety Colt Anderson stationed behind him for the snap.

(CNN)Former NBA star Lamar Odom, who won two championships and later married reality TV star Khloe Kardashian, is hospitalized after being found unconscious at a brothel in Nevada.

Odom was found unresponsive Tuesday at the Love Ranch in Crystal, the Nye County Sheriff's Office said. Crystal is more than an hour's drive northwest of Las Vegas.

"When they took him to the Pahrump hospital, the people there told us, 'He doesn't look good. He doesn't look like he'll make it, and if he does, he won't be the same,' " brothel owner Dennis Hof said.

NFL NETWORK NEWS - Full NFL Recap of all Games Played Sunday Week 5 2015! Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was an unhinged disaster on Sunday, but his starting job is safe for now.

Coach Jim Caldwell met with reporters after Detroit's 42-17 loss to the Cardinals to announce that Stafford, benched midway through the third quarter, would be under center next Sunday against the Bears.

"It's like a pitcher not having a very good day," Caldwell said of his quarterback. "That pitcher comes out and the pitcher, obviously, he's still the starter. He's still our starter, so there will be no issues there. There is no quarterback controversy or anything of that nature."

Stafford was yanked after completing 20 of 32 passes for 188 yards with a touchdown and three killer interceptions. Backup Dan Orlovsky was far from a savior, throwing a touchdown and a pick of his own.
