Today's dose of "Vitamin D" is dedicated to faith. You got faith? Do you really know what faith is or what does faith mean to you? They say faith is the belief in things hoped for and the certainty of things not seen. It takes a lot of faith to go after your dreams. Because going after your dreams, you're not going to see exactly what it is that you're going after. But you know you gotta put one foot in front of the other. One foot in front of the other. What is it? Financial? You're trying to lose some weight? I'm praying for you if you're sick. Whatever it is that gets you in the dark, you're going to get through it. You know, I'm not really one to be a firm believer or I shouldn't say I've never been one to follow the Bible verbatim. But I've seen how the scriptures have definitely been speaking to me and it's right on time and I'm a believer that you eat the meat and you spit out the bone.

And a scripture that has stood out in my meditation has been Psalm 23:4 and it says, "even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I fear no evil." And I look at some of the circumstances that we go through in life. And how we look like there's no way out. And we talk about the valleys that's the low of the low between two lands. Two highlands, so think of like a hill like mountain and you're in the valley so that's the lowest part. In the shadow of death. So death is already dark, but this is the shadow, so this is the blacketyist of the black dark. It's cold. There's animals. You hear things. You don't know what's going on. Perhaps maybe how you feel right now. And God is like "fear no evil because I'm right there with you." And then you're looking around. You say "God, well where are you?" Well, remember what faith is. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. The evidence of things unseen. That's what God is. He said "For my rod and my staff will comfort you." You said, "Well, where is it?" Well, it's in the word. Because that's what God said. And remember it says, "At first it was the word. The word was with God and the word is God." You gotta stand on that faith yo.

And what I love about the scripture too is because there are all these stories and no matter what we're going through, but it's to let you know that you can get through it too. Because if somebody can get through the valley of the shadow of death and still fear no evil, what can go against you when you got God right beside you? So I want you to keep going, OK? Don't you give up. I believe in you. You just gotta put one foot in front of the other, OK? Hold on to your faith. Remember, it's the substance of things hoped for. It's the evidence of things unseen. You got faith?
