Gary continues outlining the JC Fan Club activities. The Club participated in See You at the Pole, National Day of Prayer, and 24/30-hour Fasts. The Club members and others joined in the National Events and media were often present due to the large turnouts. Gary shares testimonies including 2-Minute Break, Copy Room, Business Meeting and Wrestling Coach. These testimonies further illustrate a move of God on a high school campus.

Gary served as an Assistant Pastor. He was trained during that time so he would move into his own ministry. God opened the doors for him to minister at Silverado High School for four years. During those four years at a regular, public high school, many lives were touched and much ministry was directed by the Holy Spirit. After a year and one half, the Holy Spirit set two rules for the next two plus years. Gary was to be to work on time and not get caught up in outside things (newspaper, etc.) The Lord told Gary this because so many things would happen so fast he/Gary could not keep up. Today Gary will share how the ministry at Silverado began and the earliest stages of this Spirit-led movement on a high school campus.

Paul concludes chapter 6 with many powerful truths. Before believers were saved, they were free from righteousness. They were not able to produce works or fruit worthy of repentance, i.e. save ourselves (verse 20.) Verse 22 shows the corollary. Believers are now free from sin, are servants of God, have fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. As the end of believers is everlasting life, their actions or lack thereof cannot "unsave" them. Verse 23 mentions the wages of sin are death; the soul that sins shall die. Wages are a just payment; however, the gift of God, no payment on the part of the receiver, is eternal life.

This episode centers on verses that show believers are dead to sin. Some phrases from these verses include "reckon yourself dead", "let not sin reign", "neither yield your members", "for sin shall not have dominion over you." The Apostle Paul uses these verses to show the old nature is gone and because of that the hold sin had on us is gone, too. We also see in these verses that God gives commands (let not, yield not, reckon yourself) that we MUST be able to accomplish (or the scriptures would be untrue, a lie.) Gary ends with two stories centered on Rom. 8:28, showing God can take unplanned interruptions and work them for good.

Gary shares the complete testimony of witnessing on a return flight. The Holy Spirit quickened an unusual action toward the end of the flight, i.e. use the restroom, to open a conversation. His seatmate was returning from the funeral of her 11-year old nephew, who died suddenly without any illness, days before. Gary shared many scriptures and the Lord ministered to this young LDS mother. Gary then shared three testimonies in which the Holy Spirit actively intervened, once to instantly sober Gary up after two beers and the other as he shared with a former student and her response to Gary saying "God is good and I am just praising Him." When he heard her response, he knew he needed to silently pray and address her concerns. These testimonies illustrate why it is critical for believers to get involved; and, like this last testimony, not run away or give up when the initial response is not positive.

Gary shared a week ago that the Greek words for salvation include more than a path to heaven. The words include health, wholeness, restoration, healing, deliverance and more. He then shares a testimony about the healing of a 4-year old boy. He was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder as a one-year  old and though the parents prayed, nothing happened for 2-3 years. Hear how the parents and young boy heard correct teaching and doctrine and a miracle resulted. Gary shared Divine Appointment #1 last week; he and three co-workers had a chance to share their faith with an CA-area UBER driver, who is a Jehovah Witness. When Gary returned to Utah, God had a couple of  other "divine appointments" with other Jehovah Witnesses. God is moving and wants all of us to join Him reaching out to others.

The previous week Gary presented six steps about preparing to share one's faith and he noted the Greek words for salvation encompass more than just "spiritual salvation from sins" but also health, wholeness, prosperity, deliverance, restoration and more. In today's program, he reviews the Greek words and he talks about the positive side of our relationship with Christ. Just as Jesus died once and for all to overcome sin, we now, too, have victory over sin, as we first reckon ourselves dead to sin and rest in our new nature to resist any old habits and bondages. Gary ends the program with an amazing testimony called "A Divine Appointment" in which he and three Christian co-workers are used by the Holy Spirit to share with an UBER driver.

Gary lays out 6 principles for witnessing and preparing to share and defend our faith. There are steps all believers can take to prepare themselves to share including being sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Gary then reviews important points from Romans 6 shared during the last two programs. We see in Romans 6 that believers are dead to Sin and alive unto God, and have gone from slaves of Sin to slaves of God.

Paul continues in Romans 6:5-11 describing our new position. We were alive to sin; now we are dead. Sin had us in bondage; now the hold of sin has been broken. If we are dead with Christ, we believe we shall live with Him. We know He died once; we, too, have died once. We do not die over and over; our old nature is dead once and for all. By reckoning ourselves dead to sin, we can walk and live in our new place/position. This helps us resist sin; we our dead to sin but alive unto God.

Believers know the story of David and Goliath. David defeated Goliath, a great victory. But what brought David to the Battle? A spiritual call? A Word? A leader asking him to come? No, none of these. Gary shares from scripture how or why David came to the Battle. Gary relates that to the many recent testimonies where God used a non-spiritual activity to do great things. All believers need to seek God as they go, so a spiritual work can come out of an ordinary event. In Romans 6, Paul answers the question if grace is our basis of salvation, can or should believers live in sin?
