The program starts with Rom.5:9-10. We continue to see God's great plan working in our lives. Through love, He not only saved us, He now delivers us and keeps us through Christ, saved from His wrath and saved unto eternal life. Gary gives various scriptures to support these which provide believers Great Security in Christ. Gary mentions how important it is to know our identity and our security. These truths are vital to ward off the attacks of the evil one, who wants to bother and bind us so we will not walk in love, joy and peace and we will not Go into All the World. I Cor. 1:30 sums up what we have as believers.

Today's program includes Rom. 5:7-8 and part of 9. Verse 7 shares it is rare that a person would lay down his/her life for a good man or woman, yet Christ died for us while we were yet sinners. This illustrates God' tremendous love for us even before we were saved, mentioned in verse 8. Gary shares the salvation story of the former daredevil Evil Knievel. Evil came to the Lord later in life and expressed disappointment he did not find the lord earlier. Gary uses this to encourage us to share with others, especially those younger. Other points include since we are saved by faith, we are now to walk by faith and to stay free from rules that bind us, even "good" rules. Finally, Gary begins looking at Romans 5:9 and though God loved us before we were saved, He loves us and is helping us in our new life even more now that we know Him.

Gary covers Romans 5:4-6. These verses show how tribulation works patience, patience works experience and experience produces hope. The hope mentioned here goes beyond the normal hope believers have of heaven and eternal life to hope in the tribulations and trials of our present life. Gary also shows how whether in evangelism or the normal course of life's ups and downs believers may have to back off, pray, re-group and let the Lord fight our battles. He will fight our battles and we will have greater depth and hope in the Christian lie.

Gary begins the program with the question What can you listening do to go into All the World? He covers the first three verses in Romans 5, with a focus on Peace, Hope and Standing in Faith. He notes that as we received Him (in faith) let us walk with Him from Col. 2:6-7. He mentions that though we may still sin we have been set free from the power of sin; renewing our mind will cause less and less missteps in our walk. He talks of fellowshipping with first-time filmmaker Tracy Robinson, whose movie "The Matter of Life," will be released May 16-17. Tracy's love for Jesus and the joy and peace she exuded stood out. He ends with a funny story how he would listen to praise and worship music on long drives to meetings and others would ask "what drug/s are you taking" due to his noticeable joy and peace.

The Bible says we are new creatures when born again. Our spirit is completely new; it was once dead and now is alive unto God. God wants us to live from our spirit. Romans 8:5b says "those who live according to the Spirit, set their minds on the things of the Spirit." We want to be sensitive to His leading. and what the Spirit is doing and saying. Today's Podcast focuses on Luke 1 and the miraculous contained within the Christmas Story. Believers as well as many non-believers embrace the Story of Jesus's birth. However, of these many are skeptical, or deny, miracles and the miraculous. May today's teaching give all of us pause to think as we hear of 

(1) a discussion between a teenage girl and an angel; 

(2) the teen is  soon impregnated but not by a man; 

(3) a priest who talks with an angel but suddenly is mute; 

(4) this same priest, who after writing his son's name can talk; 

(5) a magnificent prophesy given by this priest about Jesus and his own son. 

In Luke 2, we hear of an angel talking to shepherds, who later follow the angel's advice. And, thousands of angels are in a nearby field, praising God and speaking, too, of a new relationship between God and man.

This program centers on the Christmas Story and more. Gary starts by reading the Story from Luke 2 and adds comments as he reads. A main point of encouragement is letting the joy of the Lord well up inside us and the glory of the Lord to shine through us so we can project this joy and glory as we talk with others about Jesus. Other side comments are Mary and Joseph's awe at what God has done, just as we often awe at what He does; Simeon's time of waiting and his prophetic word about Jesus to Mary; and then a look at the miraculous demonstrated in Luke 1 as a lead to Luke 2 and the Story. 

May this be a time of meditating on the Story, on the glory and joy in our hearts and on a recognition of the miraculous that illustrates the power and wonder of God Almighty.
