The Lord brought a brother who helped set-up a PODCAST, also called "Go into All the World" this week. A great blessing and this is the Praise. The story centers on a sister who saw a man returning groceries at checkout. She stepped in and paid for them. The clerk and the young man were greatly surprised. The portion on wisdom centers on recognizing how God is always with us and how He always beckons us to come boldly to Him. I used to shy away sometimes, focusing more on fear, or shame or maybe a worry that I had done enough. I also quoted TD Jakes who mentions that there are times when we go through the wilderness so God can refine us; the wilderness may be the only way to learn precious truths. The last part of the PODCAST starts with Romans 4:20 and finishes at 4:25, the end of Chapter Four.

This program begins with two of Gary’s stories. One centered on Gary’s mini-crisis of faith and how the Holy Spirit gave him a boost. The second focused on Gary and a brother hurrying to a Christian political meeting, knowing they only had minutes to spare, and how the Holy Spirit used the Good Samaritan story to help a young girl with a baby to both start her car and start a new life in Christ.

Gary briefly mentioned BLAST, an acronym he heard from Greg Laurie of Harvest. BLAST is a way to share with others; the letters mean Be a friend, Listen attentively, Ask questions, Share your testimony and Tell Truth. This is generally how Gary shares with others. The final portion of the program introduces the First Great Awakening and how three leaders of the Awakening, George Whitefield, John and Charles Wesley, all realized they needed to be born again and an assurance of faith and how their new lives led to open-air preaching to thousands.

A media minister mentioned that ALL believers need to cling to Jesus. The feeling is that not all believers are today. Gary gives some scriptural reasons to support the idea of clinging, including Luke 9:23, John 15:4-5, 8 and more. Jesus commands us to take up our cross daily and to abide in Him, so we can bear much fruit. Gary mentions that abiding, taking up our cross and clinging cannot be done on a hit or miss basis, cannot be done once or twice a week, and must be 24/7.
