try...well, anything. So, what does it look to try - even when you're afraid?

There's the start. And then there's the finish. That space between? That's where you're becoming.

Squarely into my 30's, I've learned something about my 20's - there's a lot of false starts. So, let me say it again - that's okay. There's something to be gained in the false starts and it ends up being one of the greatest leadership tools. We talk about how painful it can be when someone you love doesn't support you, how do you pursue what others may not always understand and what does it look like to pursue and protect your peace? It can lead to a whole lot of freedom.

With every new season, my favorite thing to do is think about what I want to keep from that season and what I want to leave behind. It means evaluating where you were, where you are and where you're trying to go.

Intentionality. It's a word that implies a choice. And as I've gotten older, I've learned the weight of the choices I didn't think mattered all that much. My thoughts knew no bounds. My mind wandered freely. And now there are paths carved between my heart and my thoughts that leave me feeling defeated before I've even started.
