Go With God

means to stop trying to make our lives look like someone else's and step into the freedom of being okay where you are. If you found yourself in those questions we talked about in the beginning - you'll definitely find yourself in this episode.

I find a whole lot of comfort in the words of other parents floating in the same boat as me. Those of us realizing we don't know what we're doing, but really wanting to raise kids that look like Jesus. Feeling all the exhaustion that comes with the pressure.

This conversation with Sharon Hodde Miller is full of honesty and might leave you looking a little deeper. In a good way - I promise.

These are some of my favorite episodes. These episodes are meant to be a breath of air from the heavy, from the pressure to go, to do and to prove. Within these episodes - you can just be. I hope you feel like you're hanging out with friends, talking about the things that don't matter a lot but matter in that moment.

If you're functioning in overwhelm, feeling the pressure of decisions or just ready to approach life with a whole lot more pressure - this is for you.

Torn between a lot of good things? Tired of guilt guiding decisions? Ready to simplify the complicated? You're in the right place.

try...well, anything. So, what does it look to try - even when you're afraid?

There's the start. And then there's the finish. That space between? That's where you're becoming.

Squarely into my 30's, I've learned something about my 20's - there's a lot of false starts. So, let me say it again - that's okay. There's something to be gained in the false starts and it ends up being one of the greatest leadership tools. We talk about how painful it can be when someone you love doesn't support you, how do you pursue what others may not always understand and what does it look like to pursue and protect your peace? It can lead to a whole lot of freedom.

With every new season, my favorite thing to do is think about what I want to keep from that season and what I want to leave behind. It means evaluating where you were, where you are and where you're trying to go.
