It's no news that Cristiano Ronaldo has declared his wish to leave Manchester United. This is coming after just one season at the club. And well, when you consider all the hype and how he was welcomed last year, this might have come as a bit of a surprise. With him last season, the team slumped to a 6th placed finish in the league, after finishing 2nd in the season before he joined. 

And well, some pundits and Manchester United fans blame him for disrupting the team's flow and dragging them back. And yes, this was despite him being their highest goalscorer for the season. Since his announcement, he has been linked with various clubs for weeks. But somehow, he still can't seem to find a new club. This is pretty surprising for a player who many consider to be the greatest of all time. And if you recall, this was the same thing that happened last year when he was about to leave Juventus.

Some just completed their tour while others are still there for a few more days.  But why, though? Why did these big teams from around Europe decide to tour the US at the same time?

Darwin Nunez finally completed his big move to Liverpool this summer. And well, let's just say he hasn't quite justified the hype and colossal money spent. From big misses in training and pre-season games to silly errors, he has made while trying to control the ball. All despite finally opening his goalscoring account against Leipzig, he would still have to do more to convince people. 

Of course, pundits and rival fans are watching eagerly. Darwin Nunez just scored 4 goals against RB Leipzig. And while one party are still waiting to brutally criticise him when the season starts, the other party are already targeting him with lots of banter in the form of social media posts and video compilations of his errors. 

Although Liverpool usually get it right with transfers, now there is a growing feeling that Nunez may just be an exception. That's right. There is a feeling that he may just flop.

Then they agreed to pay a total of 67 million euros for Raphinha, and a few days later, they agreed to pay 50 million euros to Bayern for Robert Lewandowski

Don’t forget that had already spent 55 million euros on Ferran Torres in the January transfer window.

And they’re not even done yet. From what we hear, they are still in the market to sign Jules Kounde, Azpilicueta, Marcos Alonso, and one or two other players. 

All these really beg the question: how? How can Barcelona still afford to buy players?
