The pain of losing one’s child is one of the most terrible pains any parent in the world can ever feel. And we pray that nobody ever gets to experience this. But unfortunately, bad things keep happening to good people, and some footballers have sadly had to live through this pain.

When Cristiano Ronaldo threw his captain’s armband on the floor a year ago in a World Cup qualifier against Serbia, we’re pretty sure he had no intention to save someone’s life with that act. He felt cheated for having his goal chopped off and was only expressing his frustration.     And that frustration was very much understood. Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest footballers that have ever kicked a ball, and in spite of how physically supreme he might seem, he didn’t attain greatness all on his own.  When Cristiano was only a boy, he used to play football with his friends on the streets of Funchal, a city in Madeira, Portugal. All of them had the same dream; to be picked up by scouts and taken to an academy, and from there, work towards going pro. Fantrau and Ronaldo were closer than most of the other kids. They were both forwards and were the best goalscorers among the boys.

Well, because PSG just finalized and announced a new partnership deal worth 50 million euros with sneaker marketplace brand, GOAT. So, from July 2022, all PSG jerseys, training and warm-up kits, will have the brand name GOAT written on them.  As far as the matchday jerseys are concerned, the brand name will be on the sleeves. And of course, the word will not appear on just the kits that Messi will wear, every other PSG player will also carry the word GOAT on their sleeves.
