Paul was one of the most extraordinary characters of the beginning of the church. He went fearlessly into every synagogue and to the Gentiles, preaching and teaching about the crucified Christ, even in the middle of persecution, imprisonment, and beatings. He seemed unstoppable! Pastor Mark shows us today that Paul came to a point where he was afraid, and God had to speak to him through a vision in the night. Nothing that Paul did was in his own power and bravery. And just like him, we are capable of great and mighty acts of valor, but we can’t do it without the Spirit of God inside of us.
