It is time to do a Soul Detox. Your mind, will and emotions are being detoxed from the things you are worshipping more than God. We are His sanctuary called to be holy and righteous. We are called this month to remember the idols that we worship more than God. Matthew 6:24 (NIV) says, “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” We are called to serve the living God only and anything that takes that away is considered to be an idol. You can detox your soul when you practice the spiritual disciplines. Consider practicing today and watch and see what God does and how He sets you on the right track. Soul Detox will begin strong when you practice Sabbath.
