Malachi is the last Prophet we hear from in the Old Testament. He comes at a time when the people were falling further and further away from being the “Salt and Light” God called them to be. Malachi ("My Messenger") challenges the people to honor God properly in their worship and in their dealings with one another. The people could then come to know the Lord as their great king. God reminds us that he forgives, shows compassion, and remembers.
