GOD USES SMALL PEOPLE FOR BIG PURPOSES

1. GOD USES THE HUMBLE OVER THE HIGH AND MIGHTY
Luke 1:48, Mary sings, “For He has been mindful of the HUMBLE state of His servant.” (NIV)
GOD USES HUMBLE PEOPLE! GOD IS ATTRACTED TO HUMILITY!
James 4:6 But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” (NIV)
Proverbs 3:34 He mocks proud mockers but shows favor to the humble and oppressed. (NIV)
Matthew 23:12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. (NIV)
HUMBLE TEST
1. Do you admit you don’t know everything?
2. Do you choose listening over talking?
3. Do you celebrate others more than yourself?
4. Do you serve in ways no one sees?
5. Do you apologize quickly and sincerely?
6. Do you ask for feedback and listen without getting defensive?
7. Do you choose gratitude over entitlement?
8. Are you willing to take the lower seat or role?
9. Do you make others feel seen, valued, and important?
10. Do you remember who God is and who you are not?
