Hey Friend, I know this isn't the typical first episode for the beginning of a new year, but I wanted you to know that if you're in a season of, "God, where are you?" You are not alone. Sometimes our disappointments in life can lead us to a place where God's presence feels miles away. We struggle to understand why and our confusion produces more sorrow.

God placed it on my heart to kick-off the year of She Speaks Life podcast with a testimony I went through late last year. There will be times where God seems silent and maybe like me it was during doubt, dejection, and discouragement. I found that it's more about trusting God's presence rather than feeling His presence and that my faith pleases God more than feelings. It is praising Him through the hurt and clinging to His promises even when nothing makes sense. I hope that this testimony brings you encouragement that whenever you feel knocked down, He is faithful and He will always lift you up.
