Have you ever been in one of those awkward services where they’re asking for a “free will” offering – but they don’t stop asking? You might find yourself feeling guilty if you don’t give. But are you REQUIRED to give in those situations? Of course not, and Pastor Mark will be telling you why today. Pastor Mark talks about the difference between tithes and offerings today, and what it looks like to give “freely”. It’s not something required at all – it’s simply a response to the goodness of God. If the Holy Spirit prompts you to give, then do so obediently and joyfully, knowing God will use it for good. And if you don’t feel prompted – let it be. Just be in tune with the Holy Spirit and let HIM lead you!
