Apostle Paul is thanking the Macedonian churches for the support that he and his companions were receiving, as he points out that even out of their poverty they found a way to give. He assured them that they were giving to honest men, that were forwarding the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Paul’s admonition to the Saints is to be mindful of their regard for the spiritual leaders in their lives. And that spiritual leaders should maintain a Godly demonstration.

When it comes to the gospel of Jesus Christ be careful what you hear and from whom you hear it. There are many that are using the gospel for personal gain. But there are those that are doing it in sincerity and in truth. God will let you know who is who when you see him in sincerity and in truth.

Paul’s farewell and motivational speech to the elders to follow his example of publishing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

In this passage of scripture we witness the instructions of Jesus Christ explaining the authority that any and every believer can possess if he lives with out doubt about the promises of God; and don’t get involved in arrogance and sarcasm about the power of and who God is. And that we must have a forgiving heart.

Again today; we see here the agape love of God that continues to provide his people with what it takes to live a sanctified, holy, and righteous life that he provides the means for his people to accomplish; if they live as per his instructions.

Again today we see the love of God. He let the profit go to his people and even today to remind them of the error on their way. The errors of the people cause them to be in the predicaments they find themselves. The Lord want the people to understand that you honor me with your lips but your hearts are far from me. This is the kind of action that brings on the judgments of God.
