Godspeak Calvary Chapel

In his thought-provoking sermon, "Contend Without Contention," Pastor Rob McCoy explores Romans 13 and emphasizes the importance of standing for truth in the public square without becoming contentious. He reminds us that God loves all and desires that none should perish, and that people are not the enemy—it's the evil ideologies that are. We are called to love our neighbors, and in doing so, we must contend for their well-being and rights. Pastor Rob challenges us to fulfill our duty by speaking and seeking the truth in all areas of life, including politics, as an expression of genuine love for others.

With a sound mind, we can discern the truth and rely on it when fear tries to creep into our lives. Join us as we explore how these divine gifts equip us to conquer fear and live victoriously.
