Episode 57 of the Goin' to Work Podcast is here and it's a doozy! Two of the hosts have COVID and the other two don't. Nonetheless, the show must go on! The boys kick off the show by recapping Michigan's loss to UCLA in the Elite 8 matchup. They look towards the offseason and how Michigan's roster may take shape. Michigan State was in the news as they landed highly touted transfer Tyson Walker, while Rocket Watts enters the transfer portal. The show moves into some professional basketball talk as the Pistons went 1-4 since Episode 56. From basketball, the talks move into recapping the Red Wings 2-2 week. The Wings are undoubtedly a tough team to watch right now. The NFL made some noise this week by announcing there would be 17 games starting with the upcoming season. Lastly, the show wraps up with some baseball talk! The 2021 season is here and so are the predictions for the Detroit Tigers.

The boys breakdown the Michigan State season and Mad Mack provides some insight into next year's roster. Michigan is still dancing and is doing it behind some big play of their "6th Man". They face FSU in the 'Sweet 16' and Steady has a new saying for everyone out there. After the college ball talk, the focus shifts to the NBA where the Pistons are still playing so so basketball. Is Jalen Suggs the dream get if the Pistons land a top draft pick? The basketball talk leads to the Red Wings news and things are not getting any better for them. Steady may have jinxed them after stating "they're starting to heat up". The boys discuss what Stevie Y could be doing with the future roster. That leads the talks over to what the Lions have done so far in the new league year with cuts and signings. There seems to be a strong consensus that they are making "smart" signings thus far. Episode 55 of the Goin' to Work Podcast is here and it's a BIG one! The March Madness bracket is set, and so is the Greatest Sports Movie of All-Time bracket. That's right, in honor of March Madness starting the boys do a live draft of sports movies and place them into one big bracket for everyone to vote on. Before all of that happens, they recap all the news that came from the Lions camp this week. From there they dive into the tough week that both the Pistons and Red Wings had. Lastly, they recap the Big Ten tournament and give their predictions for the NCAA tournament.

The show kicks off recapping the weeks for Michigan and Michigan State basketball. One team is the Big 10 champs and the other may have just locked themselves into the big dance. On the professional side of basketball, the Pistons beat another good team with help from two triple-doubles. Blake Griffin is no longer a Piston and is on his way to Brooklyn....thank God. The Red Wings had another trying week, but Mad Mack provided some insight into who he thinks the new coach will be once Blashill is gone. The Pistons struggled this past week, but Dennis Smith Jr seems to have added a nice flair to the offense. 'The Commish' has no idea what's going on with the Red Wings anymore. Michigan State had another .500 week and are probably in need of a miracle to make the big tourney. Michigan proved after their three-week layoff that they're a team to take seriously for the national championship. The "FAB 5" of favorite snow day activities comes up as boys wait for the conclusion of the Red Wings game. The Wings lost 3 of 4 games this past week and are starting to make important roster moves. The "Fab 5" segment is back this week to celebrate the best Super Bowl commercials. The show then leads into the local sports talk. Calvin Johnson was announced as a first-ballot Hall of Famer. It's fair for fans to start asking about some of the decisions of the Red Wings organization. The Pistons have a bit of a losing streak going and will now have newly acquired Dennis Smith Jr to help right the ship a bit. College basketball is getting into the most important stretch of the season now. Will Michigan State begin to make a run at a tournament berth?
