Holly Carter and Martin Wilson opened Rare Mags in Stockport in April 2018, just 4 weeks after making a decision that they wanted to open a magazine shop. It's a beautiful shop, with a gorgeous range of independent magazines and books. 

This is a really fun chat about their vision to create a very unique and community orientated business.  They are brutally honest about how hard, but also how joyful the process has been.  And at the heart of it all, they are absolutely committed to doing business their way - ethically, kindly and creatively.

Jill Jennings is a photographer and a friend of mine.  I've always admired her bold, bright, arty photography.  In this interview I got to find out more about her influences and the fascinating twists and turns of her 30 year photography career.

I was pretty wowed by some of the stories that came out of the interview, including the fact that she photographed George Best and many premier league footballers. I especially loved talking to her about studying sculpture at art college and how it's really influenced her style of photography.
