A recent study from Pew Research Center surveyed over 3,600 people from all 50 states. The study found that young people are spiritual but not religious.
Few 18-29 year olds consider themselves religious. 54% have never attended a religious service of any kind. 21% said they only attend once or twice a year.
Yet, over 70% believe there is something beyond the natural world. 82% believe people have souls. 76% believe in God or a universal spirit and 60% report feeling a supernatural presence several times a year or more.
What are your thoughts on these statistics?

Was there anything during your sermon prep that you wanted to elaborate on or geek out about?
In Acts it talks about people believing in Jesus but needing the laying on of hands to receive the Holy Spirit. Would love to hear input on this practice during Biblical time and why we don't do this at The Chapel today.
How do we slow down and become more in tune with the Holy Spirit?
How do you discern whether your words will fall on a hardened heart?
If you were to explain "bend the knee of my heart" to a child how would you do it? What does it mean?
Hypothetically, if a person gives themselves to the Lord but has an addiction but they have trouble giving up that addiction will they still get to go to Heaven?
