Deyna Castellanos is a super athlete, but more importantly, she is an amazing person. Captain and leader of the Venezuelan national women's soccer squad, she has been nominated for the FIFA awards, led the Florida State University team to the national championship, and now with a successful professional career at Atlético de Madrid. Not for nothing is she known as Queen Deyna!

But Deyna is also a story of personal triumph and effort, and with Eglantina they talk about what it was like to grow up without the opportunity to have a women's soccer league to develop her potential, the influence of her mother and her efforts so that she could achieve her goals, and also how the Goleadoras program helps to overcome those gender breaches.

Eglantina met Deyna on the eve of a game with the national team, and she kindly opened a space on her agenda for this conversation in The Zingg.
