Training your retriever in the spring can pay big dividends next fall.  Professional dog trainer Clark Emery talks about the importance of basic retriever training all year long, and especially now that the winter is over.  Waiting until July to begin training only condenses the time frame to bring the dog to the point that you need them to be.  By starting now the teaching and learning process for handler and dog are greatly improved.  Clark shares his thoughts on this and previews an upcoming class that he will be teaching for retrievers.

The long cold winter that we've had takes a toll on the region's big game wildlife.  Jeb Williams, Wildlife Division Chief for North Dakota Game and Fish joined Scott and Kyle to share his insight into how this winter has affected wildlife and what he sees looking into 2019.
