Scott Brewer and Kyle Agre Are Talking Fishing, Hunting and Anything You Can Do Outdoors.

As the ice breaks free on the Rainy River thousands of anglers head north in pursuit of trophy class walleyes and 100 fish days. Joe Henry, Director of Lake of the Woods Tourism, joined Scott and Kyle to share a report on river access and share some fishing tips.

As winter turns over to spring so do our thoughts of open water fishing.  Cody Roswick joined Scott and Kyle to share some tips on early spring fishing.  He also shared information on the upcoming AIM walleyes tournament series.

A life long guide in the Brainerd Lakes area, J.R. Cooper was recently inducted into the Minnesota Fishing Hall of Fame.  He joined Scott and Kyle to share some of his memories from his years in the fishing industry and look ahead to an upcoming fundraiser event for the Minnesota Fishing Museum and Hall of Fame.

As we await the opportunity to chase walleyes on the open water Scott and Kyle welcome Mike Frisch of "Fishing The Midwest" tv to talk about open water strategies for walleye that Mike has experienced throughout his career.  He shares tips and tactics proven to put walleyes in the boat and previews his upcoming seminar for Twin Cities Walleyes Unlimited.

Training your retriever in the spring can pay big dividends next fall.  Professional dog trainer Clark Emery talks about the importance of basic retriever training all year long, and especially now that the winter is over.  Waiting until July to begin training only condenses the time frame to bring the dog to the point that you need them to be.  By starting now the teaching and learning process for handler and dog are greatly improved.  Clark shares his thoughts on this and previews an upcoming class that he will be teaching for retrievers.

The long cold winter that we've had takes a toll on the region's big game wildlife.  Jeb Williams, Wildlife Division Chief for North Dakota Game and Fish joined Scott and Kyle to share his insight into how this winter has affected wildlife and what he sees looking into 2019.
