Voting simply isn't a sufficient means to end systems of oppression because our political system remains invested in keeping power concentrated in the hands of a small few whom we elect to represent our interests every two to four years, often to our disappointment when they uphold the law of the land via racist, xenophobic, anti-immigrant, transphobic and homophobic policies and modest liberal reforms. So cut the shit and cast down your bucket... I mean your ballot.
