  • Big Dumb Flashback 67: Tammy Pescatelli

It's always a good day when comedian Tammy Pescatelli comes in to speak truth to dummies. This lovely visit was from the morning of May 6, 2004, and contains a weird time-capsule moment about a certain TV game show host turned politician. Plus, some notes for young starlettes wishing to emulate Paris Hilton's sex tape performance.

  • Big Dumb Show Flashback 66: Rich Vos

Comedian Rich Vos was in Vegas for some shows last week, and by coincidence I found this recording of his visit with us back in Indianapolis on June 25, 2004. It's worth noting how impressed he is by Don's banjo.

Shortly after his run with "Titus" on Fox, Christopher Titus was out on the road hittin' the chuckle-huts and was kind enough to stop in with the Big Dumb Show on a Friday morning (June 18, 2004).

Enjoy this fun time-capsule from when President Reagan had just left the planet, and we still had a Space Shuttle.

  • Big Dumb Show Flashback 61: Greg Morton

We're pretty sure this was our first visit with comedian Greg Morton, since he jumps right in to his signature Star Wars recap. This would be from September 19, 2002, long before "America's Got Talent" introduced him to, well ... everybody.

Plus, Dillinger opens a bank account and behind-the-scenes at the Hogan's Heroes pitch meeting.

  • Big Dumb Show Flashback 60: Scott Long

Indianapolis comic Scott Long was this close to being an actual member of the Big Dumb Show, given the sheer number of his appearances. We could always count on him to jump in and roll with the show with his stellar improv abilities and conversational approach.

In this visit from January 15, 2003, Scott exposes Beau’s alleged tanning booth habit and long-running affair with “Call 6 For Help” television anchor Rafael Sanchez. Plus, some football talk.

Scott eventually wised up and ditched our bottom-feeding asses, fined-tuned his material for a less-racey corporate crowd, and is now one of the most sought after comedians in the midwest. Stop by his website at https://www.scottcomedy.com/

  • Big Dumb Show Flashback 59: Troy Davis (RIP)

We were so saddened to receive the news of the unexpected passing of Troy Davis, an Indianapolis-based comic who made his Big Dumb Show debut on this fun broadcast from January 15, 2003.

Troy went on to become one of our favorite guests, and was noted for his work promoting the Indy comedy scene.

Personally, I'm kicking myself for not asking him, given his history of a bricklayer, how he felt about standing in front of countless comedy club brick wall backdrops.

Thanks for the laughs, Troy. We'll catch your next set in the ether.
