Every now and then Good Brews Bad Views got bombarded with a movie suggestion by one of our friends and then a different friend overhears and says they will be a guest on the episode, so basically that means we have to do the movie. Sometimes we regret the suggestions and sometimes we get to watch Superfights with fellow podcaster and game designer Caleb Stokes.
Jump forward to 1:35:45 for our post movie thoughts on Superfights that will most likely surprise you as much as it surprised all of those in attendance.

As he is in the news, Good Brews Bad Views decided to have the latest Patreon Poll focused around Johnny Depp, everyone's Mom's favorite weird guy. The Patrons chose Mortdecai, a movie we had no idea actually existed until we proposed to poll, in which Johnny Depp stars as a ridiculous and slightly unscrupulous mustachioed art dealer Charlie Mortdecai, with Paul Bettany in tow as his loyal and pipe laying lackey, Jock.

No one would ever knock GBBV for not trying to be relevant with the times, so the gang decided to check out Sam Raimi's follow up film to Evil Dead, Crimewave. Never heard of it? It's no surprise, given how according to Bruce Campbell "Crimewave wasn't released, it escaped." Prepare for slapstick galore, vocal dubbing, and egregious sound effects.

There comes a time in every horror movie franchise where the series has to be sent to space, for reasons no one can really explain. Such was the theme of the most recent Patreon Poll with the GBBV Patrons sending Max, James, and Ryan through time (and space) for Hellraiser IV: Bloodline, the last of the movies based off Clive Barker's novella The Hellbound Heart to feature his direct involvement.

In the 1990s some of the biggest names in Hong Kong cinema made their way to Hollywood to build upon their already illustrious careers, and some of the movies that came out of this venture were great. However some of them like today's movie were not, luckily Steve Cuff of Optimism Vaccine returns to endure Tsui Hark's Double Team starring GBBV Allstar Jean-Claude Van Damme and NBA icon Dennis Rodman.

The GBBV Patrons have definitely chosen one of the wildest movies we've watched on the podcast in a good while as Good Brews Bad Views heads to the distant future of 1994 to see how the cut throat music industry is apparently run by the Devil in the sci-fi fantasy musical film: The Apple. As a Cannon Films production the guys thought they knew what was in store but somehow this movie still surprises them.
