  • Episode 131: Prisoners of the Ghostland

Good Brews Bad Views starts the year off with in an unconventional way along with an unconventional movie with a Blind View of Nick Cage's newest film: Prisoners of the Ghostland. Several people have recommended this movie for the podcast and in Cage's own words this is the most insane movie he's ever been involved with, which is no small claim, so naturally Max, James, and Ryan have to investigate.

Jump to 1:44:05 for the post movie wrap up on this apocalyptic western samurai film and our accompanying beers, the insanity of Cage's filmography and other movies with the word "Ghost" in the title that the hosts think you should watch.

  • Episode 130: Ready to Rumble

Who would have thought that after 5 years of doing this podcast the pickings for Holiday Wrestling Movies has become rather slim? Well no matter as Good Brews Bad Views still has a helping heaping of non-Holiday Wrestling movies to dig in to for Suplexmas this year, with the Patreon Poll winner being Ready to Rumble, in which two wrestling super fans take the show and spectacle a little too seriously and have to help their fallen idol rise to his former glory.

Jump forward to 1:45:30 for our post movie wrap up on delicious Michigan Beers, how Ready to Rumble differs structurally from most other GBBV movies, and the importance of leaning in.

  • Episode 128: Jonah Hex

Multiverse this, alternate timeline that... for this episode Good brews Bad Views turns back the clock to when the phrase "cinematic universe" was not part of the lexicon with DC's favorite scarred old timey bounty hunter in Jonah Hex. It's a quick and brisk 80 minutes with a cast of unforgettable actors in an otherwise forgettable movie where apparently Eli Whitney made a Doomsday weapon and dynamite hand crossbows are readily available.
