This is a story about how my family and I got "framed/falsely accused" on Easter Sunday for stealing a cellphone and a purse.

Is Good Day with Ray talking politics...?  My intention for this podcast is to introduce new ways to view the country and hopefully encourage us to see our country like a team/relationship instead of one side against the other.  My intention also for throwing these ideas into the world is to inspire and cultivate better communication (neighbor to neighbor).  It is my belief those are the core of our issues.  I rarely talk about political issues because I think the nuts and bolts of the situations are deeper than taxes and civil rights.  It's my belief that the root of the issues are lack of communication, cancelling of ideas, finger pointing, etc.  Until we cultivate a space where Americans can safely express our ideas with maturity, it doesn't matter what the issues are... they will not see progress without a healthy communication dynamic.  

The hardest part about creating or wanting to create is the negativity we experience or the negativity we "think" we may experience.  Here is a situation that is very fresh on my mind and I wanted to share in the off chance that you are wanting to show up more in your life, what you may encounter, and alternative ways to deal with these situations.  

It's already been seven days... I feel like that flew by.  I hope everyone is doing well this morning.  Today's word is allow and the prayer is:  God, show me where I'm not allowing you to guide me or support me.  Prayers to this affect are the focus for today's journey. 

Thank you for showing up with me while I process and engage in my own spiritual journey.  It's an honor to share it with you.

Today, I chat about how I protect my peace.  The prayers and the mantras I say that help me have patience in seasons of waiting.

Today's prayer:  God, Thank you for protecting me from people, things, and opportunities not meant for me.  

Forgive.  This word was very synchronistic in the 7-week program I'm following where my lesson today was about Letting Go of the Past.  

And the quote my lesson opened up with is:

I hope you enjoy today's anecdotes and the questions I read from my lesson today.  It can be hard to reflect on what we may have brought or still bring to a situation that we can't let go of, but I found A LOT of freedom in reflecting on these questions today from my lesson.  My intention for sharing them is hoping they support someone else as well in their forgiveness journey.

Today's episode, Blanche is acting up... I chat about how sometimes when I ask for an answer from God and it's not one I like I will usually file it away and ask for another solution.  As a result, I feel like I keep dealing with the same problem.  Sometimes the answer is the answer and we just have to trust and have faith things will work out.

Today's episode asks, "What are you inviting into your life?"  What are you making space for?  Worry?  Old partnerships?  Insecurity?  

When we are trying to invite a new future, we need to take a look at the life we are currently inviting in.
