This week, Tina is joined by pediatric oncology nurse and author of the soon-to-be-published book, Nurse Papa, David Metzger. Together they tell the perplexing story of Dr. Linda Hazzard. Dr. Hazzard did not go to medical school, but, unfortunately for her patients, she was able to obtain a license to practice medicine in the state of Washington due to a loophole in the law at the time. Tina and David struggle to make sense of this bizarre story. They close the show with a delightful story about a family who decided to help local businesses while giving back to those working on the front lines of the COVID pandemic.
