In today’s episode, Allie talks about her experience taking her sick kid to an urgent care and shares how different it was compared to talking to their holistic doctor. In one visit, she left feeling fearful and in another she left feeling empowered. In one, there was belief in our body and in another there was belief in medicine over our body. In one, questions were encouraged where in the other they were met with a cold demeanor. Listen in to hear exactly what her experience was.

We interact with some many people on a daily basis. We see cashiers, grocery workers, coaches, teachers, friends, family and even just people crossing the street at the same times as us. For our second week of how women can change the world, we talk about kindness. We talk about the importance of caring for the people in our lives even if they are on the fringes of it. They could also be people we care a great deal about, but they live far away and we do not always know how to support them. Listen and help us try and change the world by adding a little bit more sunshine to the world.
