Good Not Great

Please suffer through 37 minutes of us discussing how we feel about people's looks and our general psychosis. Pamela Anderson doesn't wear makeup anymore! We go through our best/work dressed thus far of the event and we basically scroll the vogue website, see the looks, and give our (of course, nuanced and extremely knowledge fashion expertise based) opinions. Jill thinks Doja Cat needs to COOL IT! And she really knows thinks about the Met Gala you guys, Jill will teach you some things. Are we mad at Mindy Kaling? Is society done with Kim Kardashian? Does Taylor Swift get mad at Lana for cavorting with Kim? The Met Gala is just a big MLM in the end. We finally wrap up the Met talk and get to important topics like The Valley and what it must be like to date Kristen Doute and beg her to learn how to apologize to people. She wrote a book didn't you know? (And is also most likely insane.) We discuss the Roast of Tom Brady a bit but mainly how Ryann is Rich Eisen's number one fan! A horse won the Kentucky Derby! Can someone invent a game show to identify celebrity voice overs in commercials? Or who can identify the music video and movie the fastest once it starts playing? Does anyone else get very sensitive about the lighting in film and television? What's everyone's favorite Gosling film? Our give a fucks are on vacation!

You guys all have homework - go see Challengers in the next two weeks. We kick things off with the intersection of Ryann's interests - Sophia Bush coming out as queer and unveiling her romance with former professional soccer player, Ashlyn Harris. We and Brittany Snow don't know much about eating sausages. Kid Cudi is engaged! And Diddy (allegedly) blew up his car one time! MGK and Megan Fox are together, I think? Also Ryann and Machine Gun Kelly are the same exact age. Jill saw Anyone But You and she wants more Shakespeare references in her Shakespeare remakes. The Anne Hathaway/Nicholas Galitzine movie based off of a novel based off of a Harry Styles fanfiction came out this weekend, get into it! Ryann wants to fuck Lance Bass. Brittany Cartwright was at the White House Correspondents dinner, enough said. Ryann saw an owl in the wild. Lastly, Kim Cattrall and SJP allegedly met up! Gird your loins!

Starting off the pod with some HOT TALK about Sudafed and a college ER trip! Ryann then presents Jillian (and our dear lovers) with a moral dilemma (like I could ever take the Sam Mewis out of it). Victoria Beckham turned 50 and the hot ass Spice Girls seemed to have a lovely time at her birthday celebrations! Ryann gives Jill an update on the finale of Ru Paul's Drag Race Season 16. We also discuss how to pronounce Beyoncé's new hair care line, learn along with us! One of us went to a drag show this weekend and the other went to Sesame Street Live - guess who did which! Ryann finally watched the film 3 Months, starring Troye Sivan (duh) and shares some thoughts.Jill is a The Real World scholar, didn't you know? Also, don’t claim you're an expert on My Cousin Vinny and not know the quotes verbatim, you better come correct! Jillian's never listened to a full Taylor Swift album - can she even name 10 Taylor Swift songs? Which legal movies are the most legally accurate? Jill provides us with a Jonathan Majors legal update. Ryann explains Drag the Musical and who Alaska is to Jill. We reflect on the most recent NCAA Women's final four basketball tournament. Thanks for your patience while Ryann recovered from the GUTS world tour - she shares her experience about seeing Chappell Roan and Olivia Rodrigo (spoiler alert: hot dogs were eaten.) And then we side track on John Mulaney and Olivia Munn (we recorded this before knowing that Olivia Munn was diagnosed with breast cancer, we wish her the best recovery!) Also it seems like Olivia's mother is Vietnamese - so we were both wrong! Ryann's dog could never attend the Oscars. Ryann catches Jill up on a recent tournament that the USWNT soccer team competed in and won. Ryann has been spending her nights reading the oral history of the OC, Welcome to the OC and wanted to share some tidbits with Jillian. Do we still care about the Amanda Knox story? Do we want to watch a Hulu show of it starring Margaret Qualley? Guys, don't get locked up abroad - it's so scary. We sound like privileged white girls as we talk about our college study abroad experience (it's because we are). We took a brief bathroom break around minute 43. Ryann has come around on a celebrity that she used to not like, it can happen! We can reverse our unfounded celebrity hate! (Except for you Alicia Keys). Ryann also watched the film First Time Female Director and shares her thoughts. Jillian loves Ulysses S. Grant - who knew?
