Good Tech: Encouraging seniors to stay active at gyms through technology

Listen Later

Singapore is rapidly ageing and by 2030, one in four citizens will be aged 65 or above. Technology can play a part in addressing the challenges and opportunities of an ageing population. While there has been an increased number of gyms specially designed for seniors located across the country, more can be done to encourage the elderly to stay active and fit.

GymLah, a senior-focused gym booking app aims to simplify class scheduling and progress tracking for both instructors and seniors. Co-founders Enelton Satria and Clevon Wong share their innovation story and how GymLah can empower seniors to stay fit with the app as well as their vision for the future of digital solutions in healthy ageing.
