In this episode, we’re diving into Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, and exploring how this appointed time of the Lord points us to Yeshua, our High Priest and perfect sacrifice. We’ll look at the role of the earthly high priest, the significance of the Holy of Holies, and how Yeshua offered Himself once and for all to make a way for us to draw near to God. Biblical Holidays / The Feast Days of the Lord

These feast days are firmly established in the heavenly realms.

Are we in sync with Gods calendar? Simple answer, no. We are following the calendar that man gave us overtime through the Roman church in the early few hundreds after Christ died and rose again.

This Calendar is given to anyone that calls upon the name of the Lord, not just Israel.

Leviticus 23: 1-2 The Lord said to Moses, “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. These are the Lord’s appointed festivals, which you are to proclaim as official days for holy assembly.

Not the Jews appointed festivals, THE LORDS!

These aren’t merely “Jewish holidays.” They are the appointed times of God, and they point us straight to the Messiah.

We’re continuing our series on the appointed festivals of the Bible, diving into the Feast of Unleavened Bread and how this appointed time points us to Yeshua and reveals another part of the redemption story woven throughout Scripture.

After the Passover, the Israelites were commanded to leave Egypt in haste. There was no time for their bread to rise, so they ate unleavened bread as they left. But what was God revealing through this command? And why did He establish seven days where His people were to remove leaven from their homes?

Throughout Scripture, leaven becomes a powerful picture of sin, corruption, and what can spread throughout us. The Feast of Unleavened Bread calls God’s people to remove the leaven and walk in obedience as they leave their old life behind.

And when we look at this festival through the lens of Yeshua, we see an even deeper picture. Yeshua is the Bread of Life, and His sinless life points us to the unleavened bread that was set apart to God.

In this episode, we’ll dive into the biblical meaning of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, why God commanded His people to remove leaven, the connection between leaven and sin, and how this appointed festival foreshadows Yeshua and the freedom He brings.

The appointed festivals aren’t random traditions or simply “Jewish holidays.” They are part of God’s story and when we look closely, we find Yeshua woven throughout them.

God calls Israel “His people,” but what does that mean for those of us who have been brought near through Yeshua by faith? Are these simply “Jewish holidays,” or do they reveal something much deeper about God, His covenant, and His Messiah?

Romans 2:28–29 NLT says:

“For you are not a true Jew just because you were born of Jewish parents or because you have gone through the ceremony of circumcision. No, a true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by God’s Spirit.”

Through faith, we have been brought near and woven into His family. We are grafted into the story God began with His people, not replacing them, but being welcomed into the covenant story through Yeshua.

In this episode, we’ll look at Passover through the lens of Yeshua, explore how the appointed festivals foreshadow Him, and talk about why these biblical festivals matter to those of us who have been brought near through faith.

In this episode, we dive into Romans 14 and what Paul teaches us about food, personal convictions, and judging other believers. What we eat is not what makes us righteous, our relationship with Christ is what matters. We talk about the condition of our hearts, giving one another grace in areas of conviction, and being careful not to become a stumbling block to someone else’s faith.
