We’ll be diving into the appointed festivals over the next couple of weeks and how the biblical festivals point to Yeshua and reveal the story of redemption woven throughout Scripture.

God calls Israel “His people,” but what does that mean for those of us who have been brought near through Yeshua by faith? Are these simply “Jewish holidays,” or do they reveal something much deeper about God, His covenant, and His Messiah?

Romans 2:28–29 NLT says:

“For you are not a true Jew just because you were born of Jewish parents or because you have gone through the ceremony of circumcision. No, a true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by God’s Spirit.”

Through faith, we have been brought near and woven into His family. We are grafted into the story God began with His people, not replacing them, but being welcomed into the covenant story through Yeshua.

In this episode, we’ll look at Passover through the lens of Yeshua, explore how the appointed festivals foreshadow Him, and talk about why these biblical festivals matter to those of us who have been brought near through faith.

These aren’t merely “Jewish holidays.” They are the appointed times of the God we worship and they point us straight to the Messiah.

In this episode, we dive into Romans 14 and what Paul teaches us about food, personal convictions, and judging other believers. What we eat is not what makes us righteous, our relationship with Christ is what matters. We talk about the condition of our hearts, giving one another grace in areas of conviction, and being careful not to become a stumbling block to someone else’s faith. Ultimately, it’s about keeping Christ at the center rather than making our personal convictions the center.

So often we want to escape, numb, or rush through our suffering, but healing begins when we're willing to sit with God in it. Bringing our hurt, questions, and brokenness before Him is often where He meets us, comforts us, and begins to heal us.
